PRIMARY INSTRUCTOR
Introduction to Ethics (Syllabus)
Summer 2022 – Georgetown University
Created a comprehensive curriculum focused on contemporary ethical issues including, but certainly not limited to, those concerning social media, technology, racism, reparations, decolonization, ableism, feminism, gender, and sexuality.
Taught a 5-week introductory ethics summer course as a team-based, interactive learning experience in which students are provided with structure, guidance, and material concerning ongoing ethical issues and resistance movements in order to allow them to practice doing ethics.
Introduction to Philosophy
Fall 2018 / Spring 2019 – Project Lazarus of New Orleans
Created a comprehensive curriculum focused on the ethical foundations of living a meaningful life, covering a selection of material from philosophers including Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Bentham, Mill, Kant, Rawls, Descartes, Hobbes, and Nozick.
Taught an 8-week introductory philosophy course (x2) to previously homeless adults living with HIV/AIDS in Project Lazarus’ transitional housing community as a part of the Wellness University program.
